To show the different frames, their finishes and their specs, I created a fixed table with a large display area for the frames. When the word “Sample” is clicked on any frame number, the display area changes its image.
The viewer does not realize the whole page is new each time an “Sample” is clicked on because it appears to be just swapping out an image.
This type of display system works well for optimization of the site and will not interfere with the pop up window system for the display of larger images of the paintings.
