Instructor Brief Bio
Born and raised on an isolated island on New Jersey's southern shore, I spent most of my childhood shaking sand from my shoes in the summer and trying to stay warm in the winter. I dreamed of going places more exciting and warmer year-round. After majoring in art in college, I finally set out to California, where I knew I belonged. I have had a variety of careers but all have centered around art.
I have been working as a Web designer since I entered SRJC's Web Design Program in January 1999. I received my Web Design Certificate in May 2000. I find
learning HTML and other programming languages fun. I look at them as a
language like French or Italian. However, with HTML, you can control what
people see much faster than you could with any spoken language.
